yuuuh!what a relieve!I was really worried, thought my daughter is in danger.
Thank you all for your input...You have all helped me feel so much better about the recent news given by my Doc...I feel so much better now! :-)
Both DS and this baby I'm carrying now were vertex (head down) by at least 28 weeks. As long as the baby isn't what they call "engaged", it's not worrisome - and they can still flip around in the meantime.
oh, my cuzins baby was head down at like 25wk as well..........well guess what, now shes around 28wk, the baby decided to flip.... so now its breech. dont worry just yet.
like marie1210 side he could be head down today and tomorrow opposite side good luck ..i no with my first baby i was 24 weeks pregnant baby was head down and open at 1 cm
Your baby could be head down today and the opposite tomorrow. At this point there is still a good amount of room for him/her to move. Try not to let this worry you. My daughter was head down for weeks and she was big. At times I thought my pelvic bone was going to break in two. I never went into labor and had to have her via c-section. If your doctor is not too concerned then you can relax a little. =)
My first DD was head down at 26 weeks. I rested as much as possible and didn't lift anything heavy. She was 10 days late.
My first son was the same way. He was head down at 25 weeks and my doctor gave me the same instructions as yours. I had him 5 days before his due date. The only thing that I thought was bad is that it causes more pelvic pain and pressure with his head there, and as I got further along it became harder to walk, but it didn't cause any complications at all.
