Baby blanket

I'm planning on knitting a blanket for my little boy before he arrives but i'm not sure what wool is safe to use? I'm currently looking at BabyJoy after reading quite a few reviews of it's softness etc. Has anyone else used this or can recommend any others?

You can even do the slits a little longer to give it more flare on the edge :)

Yea I bought two felt blankets for my daughter one print and one plain pink and put them on top each other and  many slits about 2in long around the edges and then tied the edges in knots she loves it :) and its very warm :)

My daughter has grown quite partial to her felt blankets because they're soooo very soft and they do get quite warm :)
