can i fall pregnant while i still have left over tissue that has not passed

i had a miscarriage on 19th may but recent scan shows still some tissue to pass, could i become pregnant before a period?

It's not likely, if you still have residual tissue then your body is likely going to still think it is pregnant and therefore you won't ovulate.  BUT if you ARE ovulating, I would definitely wait to get pregnant until all of the tissue is gone.  If you were to get pregnant with the tissue still there it could pose potential problems and possibly another miscarriage for the next pregnancy.

sorry to hear about your loss, I would say abstain from intercourse until all the tissue has passed as there is risk of infection before then.
