Bag for myself for hospital?
So I've had baby's bag packed for a couple weeks for the hospital but tomorrow I find out if they'll be inducing me and idk what to pack for myself.! Lol. With my first son I didn't get the chance to pack a bag and my mom just kinda brought me the random things I asked for. Any suggestions or advice.?
Its okay! The only reason I know what to bring now is because I forgot half of it when I went! Lol ao it was a good question.
Okay thank you ladies.! I'm sure it was kind of a silly question but I'm just so anxious, nervous and excited I completely spaced out on what the heck to pack for myself. Lol. It seems even sillier considering baby boys bag has been completely stocked and ready for like 2 weeks now. Lol.
I wouldnt bother bringing your own underwear because its just gonna get ruined. I cant explain how bad and how much you bleed after birth. The hospital supplies you with hospital undies and extra long pads. The hospital also provided me with a little tube of nipple cream if you are breast feeding. Also sorry if tmi. Lol but if you have hemroids they give you cream and pads for it apparently people get them a lot while pushing.
I had my baby last month and the things that I NEEDED: tooth brush, and paste, hospital outfit if you dont wanna wear the gown, socks/slippers, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and razor, hair brush, anything else you use in your hair, make up, an outfit to go home in, cell phone, cell phone charger & I brought some little snacks like pretzels, chips, candy just things to snack on.
I packed my bag today cause I'm being induced in the morning & I brought a few pairs of underwear, pair of socks incase my feet got cold, Chapstick, toothbrush, toothpaste, I brought my own shampoo and conditioner like the travel sized ones, & I brought a coming home outfit which is comfy yoga pants & a tank top. I also brought two books along to read. Oh and a nursing bra & nipple cream because I plan on breast feeding.
