Bed rest

Hi, im almost 27 weeks with baby number two. Last week i kept trying to pass out and kept having headaches. I went to the doctor on friday and they admitted me to the hospital to get my blood pressure checked every 15 minutes and to do a non stress test. I got released from the hospital last night and they said im on preeclamysia watch or warning (cant remember what she said) as well as modified bed rest. What can you do on modified bed rest? She didnt really explain it and i dont go back to my doctor until sometime this week just depends on when theirs an opening. Its hard to just lay around when i have an almost two year old to look after.

Does it give you restrictions or details on your discharge paperwork?

"Modified bed rest" could mean anything, I'd suggest calling your dr first thing on monday and asking if someone could explain it to you over the phone.
