My son doesn't have "godparents". If anything were to happen to us he would be cared for by family and not friends - we are working on a will but if by chance we are gone before that's legal the next of kin is his paternal grandmother so she would be the one who would make the necessary decisions in the absence of a will.
Here we choose a couple that we are close to with a good home family jobs that we know can raise our child if we were to pass that's what a god parent does they take the place of you if you were to accidentally pass before they turn 18 so they don't get stuck in child care its not just about who your best friend is
Picking a god parent is a serious nd special title. Ur entrusting that this person will take care of ur child in ur absence its like having a 3rd parent. So u want someone that will be a positive influence nd u can 1000% trust. The more ppl u have the less important this title feels. I honestly still haven't picked a god parent . I really want to chose the right person .
You can have as many god parents as you like within reason lol but that's (england) for you
i chose my cousin even tho she already has 2 kids im closer to her n i can trust her.with my child of course if anything happens to me she will. go to my mom but if i need anything or her to watch my baby i can trust that she will always be there for her
