They test urine to see if there is protein in it (one of the things that shows with preeclampsia and sometimes can be the only symptom).

good luck

If they are testing you for drugs they will tell you if you've tested positive for anything.

They test the urine for bladder infections since they are so common in pregnancy. They also check and make sure levels are normal. It really depends on the doctor and location to know if they drug test.

I've always wondered this too. I'm also a FTM and I always give urine samples when I see my doctor too. I assume it's to test for infections or anything that looks weird just to be on the safe side. They may test for drugs too but I'm not 100% sure.

I really hope your not asking because you've been doing drugs while pregnant.

I used to live there and i believe they do it in the beginning and again towards the end of your third trimester.

Since no one here knows your doctor,  or whether you have private insurance or on public assistance,  it's hard to say what tests are done.

I don't know what you mean by "they drop the baby",  but I think you need to get really clear information on all of this - and not on an internet forum - before you give birth if you routinely have drugs in your system.
