I'm white and my husband is mexican so the baby will grow up speaking both languages
I am American and my boyfriend is Samoan he is planning on teaching our baby Samoan :) I don't know it though so he can't speak it all the time our child will know both
Well with her first language being english she probably wont have as much of an accent as them
I'm American and my boyfriend is African. His family only speaks yoruba while we communicate in English. I want my daughter to learn their language but I'm afraid she'll have an accent like his family and I won't be able to understand her... I can barely understand them because the accent is so strong
Helenk......its horrible how spanish has so many diff ways to speak it....i can clearly understand somone from mexico and central america....but when someone from cuba is speaking im always like wait..slow down lol and from spain...sometimes its a little difficult for me but not so much because I had a teacher that was from spain
I speak both English and Spanish fluently, but hubby only speaks spanish. My oldest daughter barely learned spanish about 2-3 years ago, but my youngest (19 mnths) understands and tries speaking both languages. They will adapt to both languages and when they enter school, they will be able to speak both :)
