Birth plan: Life or death situation?

I'm re-typing my birth plan, as I've read and done more research causing me to need to add things, and while typing it up, my mom says "what are you putting on there pertaining to "life or death" situations during birth?"

Thoughts?
Is it truly necessary to spell things out, assuming the practicality that something MIGHT go wrong...? And what exactly would be worth mentioning on my birth plan? I'm really at a loss for this, and I'm unsure of what I would put, or more or less what I'm being expected to spell out here...

When I registered at the hospital I made a living will and put my mom in charge in case something were to happen to me making me unable to,choose. I don't remember if it was required or.they just offered a living will. But I think its something every one should look into

I signed a bunch of papers giving my husband permission to make all my medical decision in case anything happened during my c-section. It also helps that he's a tech in a very high paced ICU. So he knows a lot

I've never laid out a detailed birth plan and typed it out but I assume that she means you will need to detail what lengths they should go to save you, whether you'd agree to life support and just to be safe where or who the child went to
