CM tracking question

Does anyone know if you can accuarately check your CM consistency while BDing every other day? I wanted to start checking my CM this month but realized that we start BDing each month on CD 8 thru CD 20. I am not sure if what I am feeling/seeing is sperm or CM. I have never tracked my CM before so I am pretty new at this part.

Any advise on this one?

Yeah, I agree with leighanne. Something else to add is not necessarily the look of your CM, but the feel of it. Sperm dries really quickly and doesn't stretch. EWCM will take much longer to dry and will simply feel wetter between your fingers. However, your own fluids (not CM) will stay wetter longer as well, so I wouldn't try to tell the difference between those two, it's much tougher. However, if you have checked shortly before BDing (again, when you're not aroused), there really shouldn't be too much of a difference. The only thing that may change is the amount of CM, since the contractions down there will simply push it away from the cervix.
Hope this helps!

i know it sounds gross but the CM that you are really looking for looks like snot.  you could stretch it very far and would know what it looks like if you see it.  Sperm usually stops leaking after an hour or so from BD'ing.

Hey Irish, yes you can still check CM constistency while BDing every other day. The trick is to wait 30 minutes after, to give his swimmers a chance to swim, and then do kegels for a bit to get both your fluids and his out. Kegels will also bring new CM out and down so that you can check that. You can try checking closer to the cervix as well. Also, you can check before BDing, just not once you're already aroused. Then afterwards/before you go to bed. Kegels will also help clear up any confusion as to what's what the morning after.
