I know how you feel. I just had my baby in Dec. at 23.5 weeks. I also have high blood pressure and I have a blood clotting disorder. My placenta wasn't functioning properly either. But they did tests and found out that my placenta had chromosomal abnormalities. And my baby always had low fluid, then one day I had an ultrasound & there was absolutely no fluid around him. He too only lived for 2 hours. I think that you should talk to your dr. about when to ttc again, but I also feel like you know when the time is right for you. Unfortunately for me, my husband doesn't want to try again. We have 2 children and I had 3 mc b4 we lost Zane in Dec. I've also heard that most women develop pre-eclampsia only in their 1st pregnancy. But I don't know how true that is. I wish you luck with future pregnancies. God bless our little babies in Heaven! Maybe they're playing together! LOL
I`m so sorry for your lost. I thinks that the problem with placenta and high blood pressure caused the baby to be so small for that week of pregnancy. At 24 weeks is normal to have at least 1 pound. Did they made more specific investigation? I mean despite the high blood pressure maybe you have problem with blood clottings?! Did they made tests for this?
I think you should wait for 3 month at least, make some tests and start again. I`m almost 32 old also and in our age things are harder than in women at twenties.
Stay close with your doctor and the next time with more prenatal care from his side everything gonna be ok. And remember Preeclampsia is more often during the first pregnancy.
Wish you best next time....
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I would ask your GP about when is a good time to start TTC again. Best Wishes
