lookup-I really do think there is still hope for your baby!

megmil- sometimes it can take a while for a baby to pass on it's own and a D&C has to be done or the mother opts to have it done cause waiting is just too hard.

Well if you haven't had bleeding I'm pretty sure you didn't have a miscarriage. Some doctors like to expect the worst. Sometimes they can't find the heart or hear a heartbeat that early. DId they try it vaginally? They couldn't see anything with my first sonogram so I had to have it done vaginally. I kept thinking it was at 5 weeks but recently found out I was 6 weeks at that time. So it's possible you are just not far enough along to see it. Ask about having a vaginal ultrasound done. It must be real difficult to deal with but if you have not had bleeding with clots I'm sure you haven't miscarried. I could be wrong though.

Could he see a fetal pole or a yold sak? How far along would you be based on your last period?
Some women dont see a baby and a heartbeat until 8 weeks. You may have ovulated late. I would request another ultrasound in a week and see if there is any progress.

I wish you the best!!
