I was going through something like you are. Expect I never stopped bleeding after my m/c so i went to the doc for some answers, after bleeding for almost a whole month. He did an ultra sound. & he seen nothing, well he started some blood test for my HCG levels & they werent going down, he monitored them for 4 days straight and they kept rising. well now tomorrow im going in for a D&E and possibly a diagnostic larposcopy. the last one is because i may be preg. in my tubes.
So I would def. tell the doc. to check your levels. you could very well be preg. in your tubes & this could be life threatening. I hope that everything turns out great for you though, i know the pain & the worring without knowing what is going on with your body.
Have you followed up with HCG levels? I had a D&C in November, and was checking my blood every week, and every week the levels dropped, but really slowly, and by March my HCG levles had not gotten negative (6 or less) they had stabalized at 15. So, I had an ultra sound, and there was tissue left, so I had to do another D&C and my levels went negative within a week. So, you should have a blood test. Good Luck!
are you getting your period or have you since the D & C? if not then he could have missed some tissue but if so then maybe it is still your body grieving. I had 2 MC's in a 5 month span, one in Oct 07 like you and 1one in Feb 08. I started meeting with a therapist to work through the grief since i did not feel i was able to do it on my own.
I miscarried at 14 weeks (baby stopped developing at 8 weeks) that was three/four weeks ago and my symptoms are totally gone. Have you been having periods? If not and you are having all the symptoms it would seem like there is a fairly high chance that something got missed in the D&C. From what I have heard it common to have to have two D&C's
i havent experiancied an m/c but i thought that the sypmptoms would just fade away with time but 6 months wow thats a while. you could be pregnant again. but im not sure what could be causeing that atleast you have an appointment. and when you go to the doctors could you let us know what he says that would be greatly appreiciated :)
