Can you be pregnant and still have your period?

Me and my bf have been trying to have a baby... I got my period and I was like okay well im not pregnant but now two week later i am having headaches, dizzyness, tired, vomiting, useing the bathroom like crazy, itchy feet... and i was looking up my symptoms and they are have to do with pregnancy... Is there a way you can be pregnant and still have your period?

thok my bf and i had anal sex (unprotected) :( andi got my period but it was a week early.. it was like normal and was filling up my tampons.. but i have sore breast and im really scared im not.ready for a baby nor do i want one. the pain is mostly in one breast, people say it could be ovulatipn or getting ready to start my period... my period is suppose to be due on the 7th of june. but my period has always been irragular. so idk :( i have made a huge mistake and need help!!! i was also told that if semen were to get close to the vaganal areathat u can get pregant..is that true!?? please helpe!!:'(

okay i know what it was now... Kidney Stones =( thats what was cause the frequent urination, headaches, and vomiting... It really *****...

No, you will not have a true period while pregnant. You can on the other hand have vaginal bleeding. Before your period starts the uterus will build up a lining to support the egg. If it remains unfertilized, you shed this lining an it comes out in the form of a period. During pregnancy, you cannot shed the lining or the child will have nothing to grow on.

some women get their periods throughout their pregnancy.  What ws your last period like?  Could it have been implantation bleeding that is normally a light period.  If you are unsure there is no harm in taking a pregnancy test!!!  See how you go
