Could I be pregnant?

I am trying to get pregnant and I was 5 days late and I had some of the signs of being pregnant, I took many hpt, all came back negative.  On the 6th day of being late I started spotting and spotted for 4 days, and it was very light spotting.  I then called my Dr office and got blood work done to check my hcg levels.  And again it was negative.  I still have sore boobs, I'm tired all the time, and it seems like I can't get enough to eat.  Is this all in my head or could I be pregnant?

Hi sorry it has taken me so long to reply.  I took PT on 10-8 and it came out positive. So I called and made an appt for this friday the 26th.  They have told me that to go off my light af in sept so that would put at 6 weeks or so today.  But who knows I could be further along. My DH thinks that I have been prego longer, but we will hopefully find out for sure this week.  I'll let you know how the appt goes.

Hi, I'm new here and wanted to say that I am in the same boat as alot of you.  I feel like I'm going crazy.  I am having all of the same symptoms I had when I was pregnant with my son (fatigue, butterflies, headaches, sore breasts, increased discharge, bloated, flu like symptoms).
I went to my dr. on 10/4 after receiving a positive hpt on 9/29 and no period for 2 months.  The blood test came up negative and she said that I should have hcg in my blood because if I was pregnant I should be about 8 weeks along.  Dr. did an u/s and said that my uterine line was thickened (like right before implantation) but that's all.  She didn't take into consideration that I have 40-45 day cycles and the last time I had sex would only make me about 4-5 weeks at the time of the appt.
I made another appt. with my gyno for 10/16 so I can find out what is going on to put my mind at ease. Until then, I'm treating myself as if I am pregnant.  I trust and know my body.  Plus I rather be safe than sorry.

Could I be pregnant? normally I have a 5 day period cycle. oddly for the first 2 days of my last cycle I only spotted like a brownish discharge then went normal for the next two days then the last day (supposedly) I spotted then went an extra day spotting brownish discharge agian for both days. My breast are very tender and sore, I have sevier headaches, bloated, have a hard time eating cause of the nausua, I feel like I have the flu but no really high fevers just low grade fevers. I took a pregnancy test and came up neg. did I take it to soon and should i wait another week or should I go and see my doc???????. PLEASE HELP

Chances are that you're pregnant and the light bleeding was implantation. I took over a dozen pregnancy tests and finally found out at 16 weeks that I was indeed pregnant. So the same day I found out I also got to listen to her heartbeat what a shock!!

Thanks that helps some.  How far along were you when you finally got a positive test?  If I am pregnant, I would be around 6 weeks.

You may very well be pregnant. I had the same syptoms- and EVERYONE told me it was in my head and I was probably causing this myself.  I took COUNTLESS hpt's and they all came back negative- even after I was several days late.  I still felt weird though.  So finally after waiting several days, I just took one last one....and it was POSITIVE!!  I went to the doctor and their test was negative.  They told me to come back in 2 weeks to test again (which I thought was ridiculous!).  So out of frustration I went to the store and purchased 3 more tests and over the course of 3 days I took them all.  All three came back positive. I am still pregnant and as happy as can be.  So do NOT always believe those tests- give it a few more days and you may get a different answer.  Maybe it just doesn't want to show up yet??
