Changed his mind.

So today I was telling my boyfriend how after I had the baby I wanted to be put on the birth control thats inserted into your arm and lasts three years (I can't remember the name) and he asked me why I would do that. His reaction was weird to me since ever since we've been together he told me he only wanted one kid. He said now he changed his mind because he already loves this baby so much. Before I got pregnant I used to say I wanted 4 kids but with morning sickness into my 2nd trimester and just feeling yuck I don't want another one for a couple years. I never thought this would be an issue with him. Anyone else have this happen?

Your still only early in this pregnancy and will kept busy with your buddle once bub arrives so hopefully that will give you both time to decide what you want. I was scared falling pregnant a second time after the morning sickness with my first but this pregnancy I have had almost none ... each pregnancy is different but unfortunately you don't know until your doing it :-)

I had that in but had it taken out 6 months later, had the worst side effects daily migraines, dizzyness not to mention 6 months solid of heavy bleeding which left me severely anemic and feeling even worse. My body doesn't react well with the hormones in it but alot of people I know that have it don't have problems. Im getting the copper coil in a few weeks in completely hormone free so no side effects :-)

Yea they will NEVER understand what us women go through so of course as long as they're not bearing the children & going through all the symptoms they are more than happy to ask for more lol guys are just annoying,but you gotta love them..& yea we will just have to see cus life is very unpredictable, i definitely agree i dont want them back to back either,if anything 3 to 4 years apart each, like me & my brothers.

I had all day sickness and had to quit my job and still get sick sometimes so I guess its easy for him to say cause all he did was hold my hair sometimes. But I definitely want more i always have just not back to back. Like krizi said I guess I'll just see what life has in store for us because who knows :)

During my first trimester my fiancé kept saying how he didn't like me being pregnant (horrible all day sickness, crying constantly, etc) and he didn't like seeing me feeling like poop so he didn't want anymore kids after this one. I'm 20 weeks now and we've decided that after my 21st birthday (march 2014) we would try for #2. So after i have Olyver I'm gonna get on the pill so i can stop at anytime.
But he was dead set on not wanting anymore but we both love Olyver so much already and we decided to have more, even if that means me having a horrible first trimester again :)

My fiance wants a whole baseball team -.- litterally lol...but thats mostly cus he was adoptes and an only child ,i on the other hand grew up with so much family that im fine with just 1 or 2 kids but we will see how life unfolds i guess

Yeah it sounded like a better option then birth control pills because the last time I was on it it kept getting recalled. It was just weird that he changed his mind. And I'm only 14 weeks and he's already talking about another one he might change his mind once again once baby's born.

hehe but yeah and honestly i woudnt mind another one but we will wait atleast one year to 2 since this one is gunna be a lil tough since its our first

atleast he loves you and sounds like he will be there for you :D goodluck

I have that birth control now and i love it! Ultimately it's your body and you grey to decide. Even if you both agreed to have another baby befire a couple if years, your body still need s at least 6 months to fully recover and after the six months if you were ready just tell him it can very easily be takin out. Oh and its called implonon. Good  :)
