Cheescake safe in pregnancy?

Hello girls.. so i was thinking i would make or buy some cheesecake, and then wandered if it was safe to eat it during early pregnancy? i wasn't sure if it was one of those soft cheeses pregnant people should avoid? Thanks so much!! : )

Cheesecake is made with cream cheese, not actual cheese.  ;-Þ

Cheesecake is cooked so you can eat it. It's unpasteurized cheese that you have to avoid. If the cheese is heated to 160 degrees it's safe to eat.   So cheesecake should be fine.
