City or Country??

I'll be moving home to Michigan on Tuesday. I'm rethinking where I want to live. The first question I have to ask myself.... should we rent a house in the city or the country?

This is my first baby so I have no idea what would be best for the little one. Would it be nice to be conveniently close to everything or away from it all in a peaceful setting?

I'm leaning more towards a lakeside cabin in the woods... that sounds nice. What do you think mamas?

Northern MI or maybe Marquette in the U.P. What about you? Where did you like living better?

I really want to live close to a lake. I'm moving from the desert!

really the only issue i see with the country would be distance from hosp ICoE.....other than that, i think it'd be good, especially if later you buy, to have that quietness! also, when we lived in KY chris' family lived outside the city(well, mini-town lol), and we lived in town, and it was awesome cos no one EVER just "dropped by", except a few times his mom did because she had to go to the other side of town to her church....
