Unfortunently even with a positive OPK it can still take months of trying to get pregnant. It usually takes an average couple about 6-12 months to get pregnant and with the depo shot that can make everything even more confused. Like gillian said, best thing to do is to contact your doctor and see if they can get anything to regulate your cycle. In order to ovulate you have to get a period 2 weeks after and you said you haven't been getting periods at all.

Blood work (if you get Quantitative blood work) will be able to tell the exact amount of HCG in your blood which would be able to get you a more accurate answer.

Only 2 days late - 3 tomorrow. Going to do another test tomorrow morning but have made an appointment with Doc on Thursday - perhaps he can do some bloods.

I had a positive ovulation test on 6 May so calculating dates I should have had my first period on 23 May. Due to trying to conceive we had sex on 6 May to coincide with fertilisation. This period is now 2 days late and test is still saying negative. Perhaps I am testing too early?

i was on depo and i got AF back straight away, then it disappeared for 3 months and went haywire again afterwards i ended up going onto microgynon 30 for 2 months to regulate my cycle again but due to problems with my tubes my best chance of conceiving is IVF.

If you have not had a period since Oct 2009 i would speak to a doctor to help get AF moving as you can't ovulate without a period.  I wish you loads of luck and hope you don't have to wait to long for a BFP

It's very possible that it's too early due to your HCG level being too low. They doulbe daily, so wait about a week or so. How late are you?

What brand of test are you using? And are you testing in the morning with first morning urine or is it later in the day?

Was taking Depo-Provera injection for 8 years. Last injection was 21 Oct 2009. Told it could take up to 9-18 months to return to normal fertility. Haven't had a period at all since then. Did ovulation test on 6 May which showed a positive result. Had unprotected sex to try to conceive. Been having early pregnancy signs for nearly 2 weeks but home pregnancy tests come back negative.

When is your next period due? Is it late already?
