6weeks pregnant and only yolk and gestural sack

hi everyone went for my first scan last tues which i mesured 5 wks pregnant and went today in which they said sack hadnt grown any and they could still only see sack and yolk sack but no fetul pole or heartbeat really worried got another scan nxt tues no blood tests been done and none offered ither has anyone experienced this ? should i be worried as hospital has said if nothing nxt tues then i will have to get d&c :)

not had any bleeding since weds really confused didnt even get as heavy as a light period

update i had some bleedin last night and a small clot should i be worried and is this a miscarriage ? x

Tbh you should definitely be able to see the fetal pole at 6 weeks.

yer next tues worried as they said theres been no growth or no pole so thats not a good sign x

I didn't see my baby's heart beat until 8weeks! don't stress yourself out

When I went in for my first appointment I thought I was 7w 1d but found out I was only 6w 2d. When they took the ultra sound my Dr said it was good that I didn't come in any sooner because it wasn't likely that I would be able to see anything. I wouldn't stress yet do you have another appointment scheduled?

This is my first pregnancy and I haven't gone for my first ultrasound yet. I'm 7 weeks now and decided that it's best to wait so I'll be going for that next week. That said, I waited because from what I've learned, the heart beat is formed at about weeks 6-7. I've been told if you're feeling fine and there's no bleeding and unusual symptoms, then that should be alright. The formation of your baby's heartbeat may just be delayed. Wish you the best.
