Condom broke--Pregnant? Emergency Contraceptive?
My cycle is usually 28-30 days. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex 7 days before the projected 1st day of my period. It has been almost 72 hours since the unprotected sex. I thought I didnt need to worry because i felt and I ovulated during the week before this (and according to my app cycle tracker i was supposed to then as well) we had unprotected sex-- so i did not get any form of EC. but now after googling it seems it is possible to get preg the week before period? Should I get EC? I really hate extra hormones mess my cycle up so bad not to mention moods but also am not ready for a baby. I do not feel like I am ovulating now either almost no discharge the past few days. Please help.

Chiquita22gallo, i feel like my situation is different since I ovulated before I had the mishap, and 7 days later --surely i did not ovulate for 2 weeks? My ovaries are hurting and im craving all sorts of junk food (just like before my period starts normally) hope it turns out ok.

the same thing happened to me and i'm 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant. and, i have a 5 month old son.
i'll use my cycle for example: the first day of my last cycle was august 19th. I had sex on the 26th of august. from the 28th of august to september 2nd i was fertile including my ovulation day being on september 2nd. sperm can live inside the female body up to 3 to 5 days. I took a pregnancy test a few days before my missed period and it was positive.

It is possible to get pregnant anytime...trust me, I have two kids...everyone is different. Never have unprotected sex unless you want a baby...miracles happen everyday and babies are good examples. Good luck, I hope you get the results you wanted.
Its too late for you to take the morning after pill now (Which I dont recommend anyways because it can damage your body).
You never really know when you're ovulating, unless you take OPK's... that will give you the closest insight into when you ovulate.
The best thing to do is wait for your period! Panicking will delay it more, so try not to worry
