Trying to get on Track with your help

hey everyone just trying to figure out my cycles and TTC my first cycle was 46 days but was expected as i had been on the pill for 7 yrs, my next cycle was 37 and my next im still waiting, its very frustrating cus i dont no when im ovulating, i dont want to buy test or anything as ive done that and it was making me obsessed with getting pregnant. so if my cycle was say 37 then i should be due 23rd of august but recently ive been feeling weird like dizzy, itchy nipples really hungry, and SOME days really tired im not going to get my hopes up as it could be signs of my period. is itchy nipples a sign of pregnancy tho?
basically can any one give me an opinion on what they think or there experiances on TTC, ive also just taken time off work to spring clean my house so i can relax and getting on the cross trainer too.

Pretty much anything can be a sign or symptom of pregnancy so I wouldn't read too much into what your body is doing in regards to symptoms. Similar things can happen during ovulation or pre-menstrually which can make it doubly confusing.

I wouldn't waste money on OPKs either (ovulation predictor kits). Instead listen and watch your body. When you ovulate your cervix will thin and you will have a discharge (CM = cervical mucous). When you have CM you'll notice it when you use the restroom when you wipe. You'll see shiny, sticky or even gobs of goo. I know, so gross, but so essential in reproduction. It can resemble semen you have down there after sex basically. In fact it is easy to confuse the two if you've had sex the night before so you have to be mindful of your body at all times.

This CM keeps sperm alive as the vagina is very acidic and sperm die very easily. It also lets you know that your cervix is opening to allow sperm through to an awaiting egg. My rule is to have sex ANYTIME you have any CM.

When the CM begins to resemble egg whites (clear and very stretchy; you may have lots of it) is when you are most fertile. So that is one way to determine about when you may be ovulating. The last day of the EWCM is the day you ovulate. Since you won't know it is the last day until it has passed is why it is good to keep a calendar (whether real or online) and mark down codes everyday.

For instance if you have CM one day but it isn't the fertile EWCM mark down CM on your calendar. If you had sex mark BD (baby dance) on the calendar. If you are dry (no CM) then mark the day with a D and so on and so forth. Charting your fertility is the best thing you can do for your body and for TTC. You don't have to become obsessive with it; just mindful.

Good luck!
