Could i still be pregnant? please answer

My last period was April 18th which means it has been 39 days since the start of my last period. I've taken two tests, they both said negative. My breasts have felt a little bit bigger and I think I might have a temperature. I am not under any stress and I have not changed my diet. I have also never missed a period.
I took the tests 2 days ago. Is it still possible? if i was pregnant wouldn't it have showed up on tests by now?

yes its possible i had several false negs with my first, including 2 negative clinical blood tests. It wasn't till i started to bump and she started moving that i could get anyone to believe i was pregnant. including my DH (after 7 miscarriages i think he was afraid to hope.)

Maybe you ovulated late, and that can cause a positive not to show up even after you miss your period for a few days... I have been a week late before I got a positive on a test.  You could wait a few more days and take another or call a doctor and have them do a blood test which could detect any amount of HCG (pregnancy hormone) in your blood.
