Marena removed and no period

I had my iud for two years. I had it taken out nov 16 th. I had a few periods while I had it, the reason I had it taken out was bc it was causing pains in my leg and in my lower back. Well me and my husband have been trying to get pregnat like everyday. I have missed when I was suppose to have a period but all the tests I take come up negative. I don't know what is going on? I just hope it didn't mess anything up. What should I do?

I had my mirena removed on the 10th Nov and also ttc straight away. I got a period on the 30th of nov and I ovulated today 16th Dec. i did not ovulate in nov after removal.
also I had loads of pregnancy symptoms after removal.....cramping, sore breasts, nausea, fatigue......ive been told removal causes this.
anyways i have finally ovulated this month so hang in there it shouldn't take long to get back to normal
just keep BD!!!!
best of luck :)

It can take some women up to 2 full months to get their period and have their hormone levels return to normal after the Mirena IUD is removed.   I had mine removed after 2 years and my period did arrive a little over 3 weeks later. It took me a total of 5 months to get pregnant.
