Dissovable Stitches

How long does it take for them to disolve? I have that tape stuff over them and want to pull it off so i can clean that area really good but afraid to pull my stitches if they are still there. I had my c section on Monday 5/14.

Ok! Thank you! I'll leave them be.

You shouldn't pull them off unless instructed to.  If you pull them off too early you can reopen your wound and that'll be hell to deal with.
They're ungodly sticky for a reason.

Don't pull that tape off. Let it be. It's there for a reason. Doing so, and cleaning the area can cause infection. And it hurts like hell getting an infection in your c section area! And sometimes the stitches take longer than they should to dissolve.

Don't take the tape off. Those will fall off in a day or 2, when they're ready then you can wash your stitches, just don't soak them. I forget how long dissolvable ones last but I think around a week?
