Doctor visits

So I'm 14 weeks today FTM and still haven't been checked out by my doctor. I had some problems with my appointments lately and feel as if I should switch doctors due to feeling like I don't matter. Is it normal for doctors to wait so long before seeing the patient?

I had my first check up at 4 months due to insurance and because I was moving cities. There wasn't any problems. You can get your prenatal vitamins over the counter right away

I would switch! I found out at 8 weeks made an appointment that week and got my first ultrasound done. I love my doctor! You need a great doctor to put you at ease and it makes things simpler z

I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks. I had my first Dr. Appointment at 9 weeks. I had to wait due to insurance issues but other than that they were very willing to see me. Most doctors only see you once a month for the first 6 months and then 2x a month and/ or however many they feel necessary.  I'm high risk and see 3 drs.  With multiple weekly appointments since I was 28 weeks.

I had to wait till I was 11 weeks to see my doctor as well.  They really don't need to see you before then unless you are at high risk or you feel something is wrong. I know it's very annoying to wait but just do what is best for you. You will be with the same people throughout the entire pregnancy and you shouldn't have to stress about it.

I found out I was pregnant at 7 weeks and called immediately to schedule an appointment. They made me wait a month before I got blood work done. I just feel like everything is piling up and I can't get and answers to questions I have.
