Ectopic recovery

So to start off, I was diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy May 8th after suffering from sharp abdominal pain on my right side for a couple weeks. At the hospital, they said I was 6 weeks and 3 days. I had two shots of methotrexate in both hips that day. On May 13th I noticed some light bleeding during the moring, and that got heavier as the day passed. Then on May 14th I had SEVERE cramping; I felt that I was dying. About fifteen minutes later I felt better and was even moving around. A little after that, I soon had this urge to go to the bathroom. During a bowl movement, I felt a gush, so I looked down and saw a good amount of blood, then a mass the that was a bit smaller than a ping pong ball drop down. I had a fairly normal (all things concidered) period after. What I want to know is when does your body go back to normal? Today is May 22 and I still feel the (kinda) same dull pain on my right side. Should I be really worried?

i SUFFERED ECTOPIC ON DECMEBER 21 LAST YEAR, MY FIRST TWO PERIODS WHICH WERE OVER 6 WEEKS APART FELT LIKE I WAS GOING THROUGH THE ECTOPIC ALL OVER AGAIN. IT CAN TAKE MONTHS BEFORE YOU CAN GO BACK TO ANY KIND OF NORMAL CYCLE.  I NEW I WAS PREG AND WAS RUSHED IN HOSPITAL AFTER COLLAPSING AND SHOULDER TIP PAIN, MY TUBE RUPTURED RESULTING IN ME LOSING MY TUBE, AND IF I HADNT GONE TO HOSPITAL WHEN I DID THE DOC SAID A AN HOUR LATER ID OF DIED DUE TO ME LOSING 45% OF MY BODIES BLOOD.

MY PERIODS ARE STILL 6 WEEKS APART BUT NOT AS BAD NOW WITH PAIN.

SO I WOULD THINK IT IS NORMAL

it can take 6 weeks.... or more. you need to go to the dr. to make sure that all the "products of conception" were disposed of. If no.. then there could still be something in there producing HCG and growing. and that could cause your tube to burst, so you'd need some surgery.

There is another girl on here that had the 2 shots of methorexate and a week or so later her tube still ended up rupturing so be cautious and stay tuned into your body!
