ultrasounds

Today I ended up going to the ER...  Long story...
anyway, They did an ultrasound and said I was 5 weeks 5 days. (by the date of my last peroid I should be 6 weeks 3 days).

I am terrified of miscarriage (I had one before).  A few days ago I lost all pregnancy symptoms.  My breasts don't hurt at all anymore & I no longer feel nauseous.  (this is what happened last year)

I also had blood work done today.  I wasn't told the numbers, but that it was within normal limits to be 5-6 wks preg.

Now I am wondering... Did my baby stop developing 5 days ago & thats why I don't feel pregnant anymore???
Sometimes I am a few days late for af, so I guess I could have ovulated later than I thought.  I'm so scared!

How soom do your blood levels go down if the baby isn't developing anymore??  If it stopped a few days ago, would I still have levels in the 5-6 week range, or would they be much lower.

The doc saw no heartbeat, but said that is normal for 5 wks 5 days.  Can that be normal for 6 weeks 3 days too?  UGH!!!!!

aww you poor thing, first let me say enough stop stressing! 2nd yes it is normal for symptoms to stop and for you to be 5 days off. when i went for my u/s i thought i was going to be 6 weeks 5 days but i was only 6 weeks 2 days but i did see the heartbeat.
Also if your hcg levels are normal right now i wouldn't worry, if they thought something was wrong they would of scheduled you to come back to test again in a few days to see if they are doubling. If i were you i would go see your dr and get your levels tested again..

If it's a missed miscarriage, your levels might never drop. But it's very common to be off, no matter how sure you are of your LMP. Late ovulation/late implantation can easily put you later than you think you are. Ultrasound equipment can also be up to 2 weeks off in either direction and not have a problem. As for not feeling pregnant. It can come and go. You're still in the early stages of pregnancy, and there's nothing that says you HAVE to feel symptoms, or even feel pregnant.
