False negative? Blood test? Positive urine test. Confused, help!?!?!

My last period was on June28-July1. I have a regular 28 day cycle. My period didn't come for all of July or at all in August. I took a pregnancy one week after my period was due  (August 5th) and it was indeed positive with a 1-2 week estimation on it. The clear blue kind. I went to plan parent hood for conformation on August 9th and they also confirmed I was pregnant with a 6 week estimate based on my last period. On August 11th I had some slight spotting and I went to the er just in case something was up. I had no pain. And light pink or dark brown spotting for 2 days. Nothing enough to fill a pad. The hospital said I wasn't pregnant. They did a urine and a blood test. It is now August 23rd and I haven't had a period yet. I have large, dark, veins on my breasts leading To my nipple and sides of my stomach as well as my legs. Is it possible that I am pregnant even with a hospital test. I have had regular periods since I was 13 I am now 24. Please help me ease my mind. I have a Dr's appointment on the 25th. I am still so confused.

Hi there.  I'm sorry for your confusion as this must be stressful!  I would go to your regular doctor.  There is a chance you had a chemical pregnancy.  This is when we are newly pregnant, very early and take a test that shows positive.  However, we miscarry almost right away.  The hormones triggered the positive pregnancy test but there is no baby implanted.  In the old days before home pregnancy testing, women just thought they got slightly late periods and never knew they were pregnant.  Now we can know with early home pregnancy tests.  This is a possibility I'm sad to say.  So, I'd go for a regular doctor's appointment and discuss this.  Good luck

I'm currently 25 weeks. And up until about 8 weeks, I had false blood tests aswell. Get an ultrasound, or keep going back for bloodwork.

I had this exact same thing happen to me. Exact same, I had a tooth pulled like 2 week's after the hospital told me I wasn't and ended up missing carrying because of the med they gave me for the extraction. So it's very possible. I would have a second opinion  or 3 or 4th until it made sense

Ive seen other cases where for some reason the blood test comes back negative but the girls have been pregnant try to get an ultrasound done for sure your little one will be there goodluck :)

I meant is it possible to still be pregnant even with a negative hospital test.
