It's hard not to worry! This is one of my husband's fears, actually- that I'll die giving birth. But it seriously is unheard of in the USA and Europe. There are so many medical advantages that prevent maternal death while giving birth. *HUGS* Take it easy!
Thanks, you are probably right. I just need to learn to relax and enjoy the moments nowk before they past right by me with all this worrying. I will mention to my dr. I won't see him till the 14th but I'll mention it to him.
It is very rare for women to die during childbirth and if women do die during childbirth it is usually not even birth-related (maybe she got into a car accident, etc.)
You may want to talk to your doctor about this fear because it can turn into depression. My mom-in-law hemorraged with her third baby, who is now my husband, and ended up having a fourth child after him (so she had 4 children total). She is still alive to see her grandchildren be born!
Don't worry- I know that you had a traumatic experience. You may be experiencing from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and your doctor must know how you're feeling, no matter how silly you sound for saying it.
