Sorry to just get back Ricki.....The standard variation should be only by half an hour and not an hour. You will see a def difference by temping at the same time each day. Good luck! Oh, and I have a BFP chart under my photos if you want to take a look...

I take my temps every morning at 7:00 now...and they seem a little more stable :) thanks~
now just hoping for a triphastic and a BFP! ;)
Nope, an hour is too big of a gap in the time you take your temps. TCoYF states that every half hour you are late at taking your temp, it rises by .1-.3 degrees which can cause a false reading. You should take it at the same time every morning, just set an alarm and pop it in your mouth. You can't move too much, talk, etc. It has to be your waking temperature and it has to be consistant. You have to have gotten at least 5 hrs of sleep. You can google bbt and it gives you the same time constraints as I have mentioned. To be accurate, you have to chart accurately. However, given the temps you have, it is possible that you ovulated but you shoudl wait a few more days to be positive. Next month just take your temps more regularly. You will get much better results and start charting your cm. You can switch ff over to the FAM method which I feel works a little better. Good Luck!
I take mine the second I am conscious as long as I've been asleep for at least 5 hours. I wake up a lot in the mornings so it can be anywhere between 1 am and 7am. But I think the most important thing is that you JUST wake up and don't move before you take it. Just move the arm you need to grab the thermometer.
Thanks ladies!!!
Michele, I usually take my temps between 7-8am everyday...is that too broad of a time you think?
I think you Oed as well. It doesn't look like you are charting your CM. Normally FF uses all of your fertility signs from your body to confirm O, but the temp being the primary one. I notice that you have circles that are not colored in, indicating that you are not temping at the same time everyday. It will be difficult to get an accurate reading if you don't temp at the same time. Temping at the same time is really important. I suggest using an alarm clock; even on the weekends. That is what I do. I just take my temp and then go back to sleep. I wish you luck!
It's possible. You don't need a major spike. It could be an increase of only 0.04. Your best bet is to keep watching them for the next couple of days. Good luck!
