Fetal Size

Hey ladies. So about a couple weeks ago, I had my anatomy scan to see my baby girl :) all was good and no abnormalities. Except that they measured her at being a week ahead of what she was before. The average weight of a baby that old is in the 300s(grams) somewhere. And she measured at 413. Is that a bad thing?? They just moved my due date to sept 29th instead of October 4th. That happen to anyone else??

My midwife told me that your first scan is always the most accurate and that they will not change my due date after because all babies grow at different rates. I measured two weeks ahead my first scan and my due date was pushed up but no matter what the baby weighs after they won't be changing it. My brothers gf just had her son 4 months ago and her first scan said he would be born January 27th and every scan after that her due date was moved to early january, then early december, back to late december and he didn't come until February 1st, so its all just a guess after that

Theres nothing wrong hun. Your due date isnt a for sure thing. Its just a gestimate based off your last period. Domt stress it to much.

My baby has measured a week behind and a week ahead at different scans the midwife assured me that this was perfectly normal. My due date was never moved, hope this helps a little.
