Fetal pull

So I went to the er today because I had began to bleed more than my normal spotting. I wasn't having any cramps or anything but I wanted to get checked out. So far they have told me I have a urinary infection and that either I'm too early for the "fetal pull" to show on the ultrasound or else my body will not allow the fetus to grow and within 2 weeks I will miscarry. I have no idea how to feel nor have I ever heard of "fetal pull". Does anyone know anything about this?? I go to my ob on Tuesday and they are saying she should be able to see the pull that day. I'm so scared :(

He's referring to the Fetal Pole which is the early stage of the baby's spinal column. They can be hard to see for some women on early sonograms, and the test has to be repeated at a later date. They should have a better indication of what's going on next week. Many women have posted on here of similar situations with not seeing the fetal pole on the firs sonogram, but seeing it on the second, so I hope that is the same for you.
Wishing you the best!
