ob not seeming right..?

So the ob I'm seeing at the moment doesn't really do much. I've had one ultrasound and that's only cuz he had the wrong file my first apt and couldn't hear my babys heart beat so he did one of those ultrasounds where the camera goes inside you and then found out he had the wrong file and I was only 7 weeks at the time. I went to the er on feb 2 because I spotted. Turns out I had a subchronic hemerage. That was 2.3cm. They had me take a weeks leave off work and told me to just relax stay in bed and to follow up with my ob and they told me he would do some test, make sure the babys doing good and check on the tear. So I go in for that apt and he's in there with me for like 5 mins. Checks the. Babys heart beat which was 156 beats a minute and nothing else. I had to bring up my hospital visit and all he said was that if it got worse there's nothing he could do about it. ?? With my first son the ob was great. She would spend 30plus minutes with me. Was always doing some kind of test, she was sending me to ultrasounds. And this guy I feel really unsure about so today I called to transfer to the ob I had with my son... but something just doesn't seem right with my the one I was seeing, am I just over reacting?

You have to do what you feel is best for you and baby. I have been going to the same OBGYN for 8 years now, and we decided to do a midwife rather than going with a doctor we trust for everything else. Just follow your gut :)

Nope. You are completely right. I firmly believe that your pregnancy wiill go a lot smoother if you are comfortable with your dr.

If you're not comfortable you can switch, you're the momma--you do what's best for you and the baby and if you feel you get better care with someone else then switch.
