How many weeks did you find out gender?

i have a regular OB appointment this week. They told me that I will then schedule an appointment to a special place that does better ultra sounds to check the heart and will be able to know gender that day too. I will be 18 weeks in a few days. And they said the special appointment won't be for at least two more weeks. So I'll be around 20 weeks.
I'm so excited to find out! But I also scared they're going to tell me it's too early to tell or that the baby will have its legs crossed!

Oh, and I also saw my doctor every month for several months, then every two weeks and then once a week but wasn't high risk.  That is what the doctor's practice I go to does . . .   but only ONE ultrasound.  boo.  I did have a couple of issues though with a nasty fall with my first son and then some heavy bleeding at 30 weeks when I had placenta previa with my second.  So, had an extra ultrasound with both pregnancies.

You guys are all lucky that get lots of ultrasounds!  good luck

I didn't find out until 20 weeks (well, okay, I didn't find out until the babies were born as we wanted it to be a surprise) when they do that scan.  My insurance allowed for one ultrasound unless there was a problem and that was at 20 weeks.  good luck

We found out the gender of our son about 20 weeks, but he was positioned perfectly. There are plenty of people out there that don't get to know the gender due to the baby's position. I was a high-risk pregnancy though, so I saw my OBGYN every month initially, then every two-weeks, then every week. With all the check-ups, I was bound to find out the gender of our baby eventually. A lot of people's insurance doesn't cover too many ultrasounds, so that's why many go left unknown.
