GENDER FRUSTERATION!!!
all of these other girls get to know what there having all early and my doctor won't even tell me for another 4weeks I'm 15w 4d I'm so frustrated and feel that it's not fair!!anyone else?
Most docs offer genetics testing which most come with a jack or Jill test done between 11-14 wks so maybe as or Google a genetics clinic around u! I had mine done at 11 wks and found out in 5 days! And now being 22.3 wks it's been confirmed 3 times by ultrasound! I wonder why some people don't get as many ultrasounds I feel like I get them all the time! Even at my check ups my doc uses a ultrasound to show me her and hear the heartbeat!
Alot of people pay for the 3d ultrasound to find out. I found out with all 3 in the er tho. 13wks,15, and 16 wks. I always gwt seriously dehydrated
I didn't find out until I was 20weeks. My u/s appointment was scheduled for 19weeks but I stuck it out another week. Am now 22weeks 4days
I'm paying for my ultrasound and my doctor refuses to do it before 20 weeks. There is it her women due after me but know what they are having. It's okay I just wish it would hurry up.
Getting a gender scan that early can sometimes be wrong. It's a 50/50 chance. Your doctor may be more confident waiting longer for a reason.
I went somewhere else at 15 weeks to find out and it wasn't that expensive. It was only $60. But I live in Orlando and there's a place here called Prenatal Impressions and their one the only places in Florida who can 100% determine gender as early as 14 weeks.
Yeah most doctors won't do it until 20 weeks. A lot of times out depends on when your appt lands. Mine is today at 17+3 so they'll tell me. Some do if as long as your appt lands from 16-20 weeks
Before 16 weeks it is more of an educated guess with ultrasound than an actual confirmation. 20 weeks is the normal time to be told with confidence because all the external genitalia is formed and easier to see. Lots of women who find out early are told one thing and then it's changed later. If you really want to know, waiting is your best option.
Also remember that the earlier they try to interpret the gender the larger the margin of error. I have no problem waiting until 20 weeks to be sure.

I get to know within a week and its only because I had to get special tests ran on my blood which also tells gender and I'm only barely 13w. But I think doctors do that because of certain insurance. I have tricare prime. My high risk doctors will do whatever I tell them to.
I feel you.. Here in Slovenia you almost never get to know the gender before 20th week, except if you pay. I had NT at week 14, and she didn't want to tell me, cause it's not 100%. so now I'm 20+2 and I'll finally get to know on friday. It was a long way.. ;)
It makes me so mad and ultrasound areally expensive! There like 150-200 dollars! I just want to know what I'm having and I asked If they could tell me but they said no!:(
it's ok I was like that I didn't get to find out until I was like 19 weeks n 4 days n people with due dates on here later than mine knew what they were having before I did lol. it is frustrating but that time will pass before u know it.
You can have a ultrasound early that's what me and boyfriend did we just paid for it instead of waiting till I was 20 weeks
