I just had 2 teeth pulled friday because they were becpming absessed and I would def not reccomend it, I am 31 weeks!! and to be honest it was the worst thing ever!! they cannot put u too sleep while ur pregnant just low dose numbing meds.. if u can i would def wait till after the baby..only reason i had mine pulled cause I was scared of infection gettin to baby because they were comin absessed,,,its horrible :/
What happyfeet said is and old saying. LOL. Anyways go in for a dentist check up and tell him what he recommends you to do.
why not cut your hair? that seems so silly. i heard of not dying it, but...not cutting it?
Well I ws tld by my aunts mom an every woman nt to cut my hair durin pregnancy or pull any tooth lol
I'm sure every dentist is different but mine will not do any dental work during 1st or 3rd trimester. As far as wisdom teeth I had all four of mine pulls at once and omg the pain sucked! I was eating soft foods for a week.
yeah i definitely will because i SUCK with tooth pain! lol
I would wait only because I had all 4 of mine extracted, they thought they were partially impacted, but no, they were fully impacted so it was really really bad. I couldnt be put to sleep because my heart rate was to slow, (i imagine they cant put you to sleep while pregnant). It was the worst pain ever. Afterwards I was popping vicodine like candy. Theres no way I couldve just done tylenol. I would say if its not so bad, I would wait, just in case your in a lot of pain afterwards. At least if you wait you can have heavy duty pain killers if u need it. I sure did.
I had a tooth pulled at 7 weeks pain is bad for baby my doc said lortab was ok to take just not a lot just what's prescribed it's like one every 6-8 hours I think the dentist knows what to prescribe pregnant women just make sure to tell him u are and u should be fine :-) good luck
yeah i figured i'd wait since i wouldn't be able to take much pain meds. im not very good with tooth pain at all. lol. so i'll probably be waiting, unfortunately.
My doc told me to wait to have my wisdom teeth and another tooth extraced until I have my baby. I'll have insurance for 8 weeks or so after my due date.
Wisdom teeth can be extracted during pregnancy. I had mine done. Just ***** that u cant take much if ur n pain. Although my dr says Vicodin is ok in pregnancy if needed in a small dose. Its pretty much tylenol
What about getting your wisdom teeth pulled? I really need mine out baad..
Going to the dentist and having dental treatment is completely safe anytime during pregnancy. Having a bad tooth in your mouth isn't good for you or baby, so you should defiantly get it taken care of! Hope you feel better!
The best time for dental work is the second trimester. I got a cavity filled when i was around 15 weeks
