I'm sure every dentist is different but mine will not do any dental work during 1st or 3rd trimester. As far as wisdom teeth I had all four of mine pulls at once and omg the pain sucked! I was eating soft foods for a week.

I would wait only because I had all 4 of mine extracted, they thought they were partially impacted, but no, they were fully impacted so it was really really bad. I couldnt be put to sleep because my heart rate was to slow, (i imagine they cant put you to sleep while pregnant). It was the worst pain ever. Afterwards I was popping vicodine like candy. Theres no way I couldve just done tylenol. I would say if its not so bad, I would wait, just in case your in a lot of pain afterwards. At least if you wait you can have heavy duty pain killers if u need it. I sure did.

My doc told me to wait to have my wisdom teeth and another tooth extraced until I have my baby. I'll have insurance for 8 weeks or so after my due date.

Wisdom teeth can be extracted during pregnancy. I had mine done. Just ***** that u cant take much if ur n pain. Although my dr says Vicodin is ok in pregnancy if needed in a small dose. Its pretty much tylenol

Going to the dentist and having dental treatment is completely safe anytime during pregnancy. Having a bad tooth in your mouth isn't good for you or baby, so you should defiantly get it taken care of! Hope you feel better!
