thank you ladies.... its been 1wk now i was goin to go last night but decided to wait a lil longer so they'd see more thanks again
at 6 weeks you'd see a little bit. If you wait a week for another ultrasound you should be able to see a heartbeat! Are you basing the 6 weeks off of LMP or Ovulation? If it's LMP it's not 100% accurate, if it's off Ovulation you should be pretty close.
If you are only 4-5 weeks you wouldn't have seen much more on an ultrasound. I would say wait 2 weeks and then have another u/s done =)
the missed miscarriage happened in 2002 i had lost the baby at 13wks but he had started to deteriorate* back to 8 wks or so but i have had 3 healthy babies since then... i told the docs i thought i was bout 6-10wks but once i got home and checked my dates i should of only been about 4-5wks right now i should be about 6wks so i believe its all too early... I had to have a D&C with the 1st missed misscarriage because i never passed anything i never bled nothing but I knew that baby was no longer with us... I have this gut feeling that something is there this time and its got a good chance i jus cant do a d&c right now
I had to have a D&C because it was a missed miscarriage, after a week or two my levels were back down to normal. About 3 weeks after the D&C I ovulated.
It really depends If you have passed everything it could take up to 4 weeks, but if you didn't pass everything it could take much longer.
It can take up to an average of 4 weeks i believe.
Hi sorry about your loss I was 10 weeks and bub had died at 8 when I miscarried. And 2 weeks later I was back to 0. I then fell pregnant the next month. Hope it helps
when you said miscarried before but didn't pass anything how long was the gap between pregancies? It doesn't sound normal to me not passing anything when i had my missed misscarriage i instantly lost all my pregnancy symptoms then bled and passd everything over 5 days, i was11 weeks but lost the baby at 8 my hcg levels took 2 weeks to go down.
How far along do you think you could have been when you had your ultrasound? it could be a case of being to early to see anything butthe sack? I would schedule a d & c just yet if it were me i would definately wat it out to see what happens maybe you should see another doctor though and get you hcg levels monitored ad maybe another u/s, it just all seems a little odd to me. goodluck please keep m informed.
It took me 4 weeks after my miscarriage to stop showing positive on a pregnancy test and then another 2 weeks after that to get a period. My levels were super slow at going down.
I wouldn't do anything at all just yet and see what happens. Sometimes our ovulation dates can be off and things work out! I have my fingers crossed for you!
the 1st day of my lmp was March 12, 2010 i got my BFP on April 14 so that would make me roughly 6wks 2days maybe even slightly earlier than that cuz i have no clue when i ovulated... i posted another question about it called blighted ovum or still pregnant i just came across this site that has me really really 2nd guessing the drs in the er.... http://www.squidoo.com/misdiagnosedblightedovum they have alot of stories on there that will def. make you wonder...
Thank you very much! ;)
How far along are you? If you don't feel right about it, don't do it, maybe get a second opinion. When was your last period? Depending on how far along you think you are you may have ovulated later and it may be too early to see the baby.
thats just it im super confused as to whats happening... i missed miscarried before and lost all my symptoms with the baby still inside i never passed him. But now im having spotting thats more pink then anything i still feel very much pregnant. Im still testing positive they never told me my levels i just been takin test trying to see whats goin on they did an u/s and said i had an empty sac no fetal pole nothing that my baby was never goin to develop. They told me i should pass it and i needed to make a appt to see about a d&c but it jus dont feel right i dont have insurance yet so i cant see my dr.....
It really all depends on how high your levels were to begin with. Sometimes it takes women longer to get to 0 then others. Are you having your levels checked? Usually when the bleeding stops it means that you have gone back down to zero.
