Hair loss and pregnancy HELP!
I'm 27 and experienced hair loss prior to pregnancy. Now that I'm pregnant I have a huge increase in hair fall. Are there any safe remedies to treat hair loss during pregnancy?
Try a hot oil treatment. Avoid shampoos/ cond that have silicone in the ingredients. Also wash, cond hair in cold/ warm water, not hot as it tends to break hair off and effect new growth. After pregnancy, take a pill called hair, skin & nails by nature's bounty. Its the best! Made my hair grow so long & thick!!! You can find it at any grocery store, health food store, or Amazon. I can't wait to start taking mine agai! Good luck!
Im going thorough the exact same thing at 4weeks...Im just worried because I had a miscarriage over a month ago but doc said its normal and Im hoping to carry this baby full term!!
Everyone talks about the 'glow' when pregnant but nobody tells you about the 'wilt', which I'm betting is just as common!! I'm 25 and get pretty bad hair loss in pregnancy. Pregnancy vitamins help a little but like sweetbee3 says you just have to hang in there until baby comes out and you can take a supplement :( also just so you're not shocked, there is also usually a period after pregnancy when the hormones are crazy and adjusting and it's normal to lose hair then. Don't feel too disheartened, it should come back eventually with a balanced diet and some extra vitamins. Best of luck x
