Freaked out a bit

hi, i'm kinda new to this. But last week (june 4th) i had unprotected sex with my ex bf ive been on the pill since i was 17 so 5 years now, but he didnt go in me at all. i'm supposed to get my period on june 23rd. I always get it the same time. But on monday (june 7th) i had some spotting very light just in the morning. Now everyday up until today i still have spotting. Sometimes its just a light pink and sometimes it's a fairly dark red. Like my period but definitally not nearly heavy enough. I havent taken a pregnancy test because like i said i dont get my period until the 23rd but i'm just wondering if this is normal or not. Its never happened to me before.

Haha whoops just reread your post.  Totally missed the pill thing.  Probably just breakthrough bleeding as ovulation doesn't occur with the pill.

It could just be that you are getting ready to ovulate.  I get some spotting sometimes prior to my period that can last a few days.  If your period is late than I would take a test but I think it's just probably ok.  Good luck.

Breakthrough bleeding (or spotting) when on the pill is normal and actually quite common. Wait for your period, and if it doesn't come, take a pregnancy test. Best wishes :)
