A midwife came in checked my bp and the usual stuf as she walked out the door I shouted oh sh.it this was 4.57am my waters had just broke I needed to push then and within 11 minutes my son was born I had sips of water to keep me going and I hadctakem snacks in my back if I was there hours

When I had my son I wasn't allowed to eat anything. I was only allowed to have ice chips. And I waited as long as I could before going into the hospital. And I'm glad I did bc I was in labor for 31 hours. It was more comfortable to stay home until I felt I needed to go. Plus my hospital is only 10 minutes from my house.
Does your hospital have a labor time limit? Do you plan on laboring as long as,possible at home before going in?
Im due Monday and I plan on having a natural hospital birth... my hospital doesn't allow eating during birth but they do allow drinking water, and juice... they also allow Popsicles, Italian ice and things like that... you can wear your own custom hospital gown if you choose, and there are a few different birthing positions they allow
I'm due in November, also. I have a bunch of questions to ask my doctor about it next week. Just hoping my hospital allows me those freedoms
It's really up to your hospitals policy. I know mine allows all those freedoms
I havent but im due in november and want to have a natural birth
