I know I'll feel better after my u/s next week
The ladies are right. They dont specifically have to double. My dr would never allow the nurses to release any results until after he looked over them. After I had my second MC I became pg within a month after my D & C and I had called to get my hCG results. I waited on hold for 45 mins while my dr looked over them. Best of luck to you!
Thanks for yalls comments
the numbers dont actually have to double either, to have a viable pregnancy they need to rise by 60 % over a 48-72 hr timeframe, which yours have done, and as a previous poster has said they do tend to slow down once they hit a certain number, and then the best way to determine a viable pregnancy is through an u/s which you are having next week, good luck :)
when i first found out i was pregnant is was like at 90. and then a few days later i was at like 9000 N somethin. ur numbers r doubling fast tho. so i wuldnt worry! just keep ur head up till the u/s!
I didn't talk to the doctor, I go for a u/s next week so I'm gonna just try to wait it out. I'm just a worry body from previous miscarages
Did you talk to your doctor?? My doctor hates it when nurses say ANYTHING to me about things he should be talking to me about! My first HCG was only 64, 11dpo, and my nurse said it was really low...... and that was it. I freaked out, and my OB wasn't concerned at all. I'm now 28 weeks 4 days with a healthy baby girl! :)
Thank you. I just need some reassurance... That nurse was so wrong for saying that
My doctor never went by HCG levels, as far as them slowing down, some doctors say by the time it's 1200, some say by 6000 it will slow down, my doctor said it would double or more every 24-48 hours the first 6 weeks or so, but yours started off pretty high, it's still rising significantly so I don't think she should've worried you like that at all!
