You conceived as soon as the sperm made it thru to your egg.

Every OB goes by the 1st date of your last period and counts 40 weeks to figure your due date. They do this because that is a definitive date, you can't always pin point the exact day of conception.

So technically week 1 and 2, you are not pregnant.

Sigh...  Your last period was Aug 1. You ovulated approx two weeks later. Implantation could've taken a week. You are exactly as your Dr said 28 weeks. Just look at a calendar and count. This isn't that difficult....

Something similar happened to me. My last period was September 3rd but I mustve ovulated later bc I didn't get a positive test until halloween. I'm due July 5th. But going by my last period I'd be due June 9th. But the baby is measuring according to the July due date. I'm not sure why or how that happens but it is kind of confusing!

Was this Date calculated from an Ultrasound?
My last period was 6th of August and my due date is 19th of May... which is still a week late as I must have ovulated late.
Mine was taken from Ultrasound.

You could've ovulated late. Did you ask them why?

My conception date was Aug 2/3. That was around when you had your last period. Typical ovulation in a 28 day cycle is two weeks later. Implantation can be more than a week later.

Your estimated due date doesn't sound of by much if at all. But it's always just an estimation anyway
