Medicated or natural?

Are you ladies planning on having your babies naturally or with medication? Just curious, what are your reasons?

Im choosing to go natural and its my first. Reasons being I just want to experience it for myself rather than believe what I've been told. Yea we'll all go through the same thing but not all women are capable of handling pain as well as others and I want to see for myself how far I can go for the sake of doing it the natural way. Its sort of like a test for me

I plan on trying natural but if the pain gets too intense I have no shame in getting epidural! I'm not very good with pain so we will see

I'm having my first and doing it all natural. I want to give my little girl the best start and that's the route I think is best. Our bodies are designed to do it so I'm preparing myself emotionally and physically to bring her into the world. Good luck no matter what route you choose.

Naturally. Did my first naturally and plan to do the same with my second. Things went smoothly so im hoping for the same this time. Were also not offered epi here and can only have morphine if before 8cm if we need it.

I'm planning natural but if I am in labor for over 24 hours I'm getting an epidural if the pain is too bad at that point. So I want to go natural but the moment the 24 hour mark hits, I know I have the option to get medication.

All natural, no birthing classes or anything. Im winging the entire experience. I plan on staying home for awhile too because I dont want to have to cruse my nurse out because she is making me lay on my back, its a fact that is the worst position for a woman in labor. I just feel that the pain will be less intense if I am in a comfortable environment. The only thing I want assistance with getting my baby to latch on.

I want to go natural, but I have no pain tolerance at all, also I hate needles so we will see which over powers the other , I know I might need the epidural and I have no shame in getting it, I think every woman wants to go into labour hoping for a natural birth because its 'natural' but everyone is different and I just want a healthy baby in the end
