i was put at high risk because i have a supsbate uterus. which means my uterus is not open like a normal uterus. it has two sections. i'm quite lucky because the baby is in the bigger section of the uterus. the doctor said i'm lucky to also have gotten to 10 weeks. people usually with this condition find it hard to get pregnant and when they do they m/c early like 6 weeks. they are going to keep an eye on me but i most likely wont make it full term. i'm due 3rd sep but i think the bubba will come early august.
What was the reason they put you at high risk? I am high risk also. It's because of a cornual resection on my uterus, which makes me a much higher risk for uterine rupture, so I can't go into labor and I possibly have placenta accreta. I am 21 weeks now and I am seen by my ob/gyb once a month as of now and I also see a perinatologist once a month for level 2 u/s. I am not sure when I will start going more, I suppose they'll let me know as my pregnancy progresses. As for seeing the specialist my pregnancy seems pretty routine. I just have to keep an eye on any "weird" symptoms. Example, if I start having too many bh contractions, I have to go to the ER, but that hasn't happened yet, thank goodness!
