6weeks 3days pregnant hcg levels lowered

hi I went to the er Tuesday morning cuz I woke up with blood clots and cramping. My cervix is closed they only found a yolk sac and my hcg level was 1500. Wednasday afternoon I went back still spotting and cramping cervix still closed but my hcg level was 1444. They told me to prepare myself for a miscarriage. I am not bleeding no more and my cramps come and go. Is it possible I can still carry a full term healthy baby? I'm really scared ;(

I just got back from the er...I'm so sad and mad at the same time! I just lost my baby.

I think you should hope for the best but prepare for the worst. I know This is super hard, thoughts and prayers are with you!

so my hcg levels went back up to 1700. I go back tomorrow for more blood work and get the results Monday! Let's hope for the best and get them high! (still bleeding) ;(

Hii, one i am sorry for what your are going through, I know EXACTLY how you're feeling, I had a miscarrige last month, my HCG levels lowered ALOT when i was miscarrying i went from 1500 to 200 to 80, you're are still VERY high, If you're cervix is closed you are doing okay, if the bleeding gets heavier then go back to your EPAU unit or ER, you could have lost a twin or something, then your HCG levels wil go back up again. But just keep and eye on yourself, if your cramping gets worse go back, just to be on the safe sidee.

I've heard of some cases where they go back up, but it would be wise for you to prepare for a miscarriage. If you had combine bleeding and a lowering of your hcg levels, it's unlikely that the pregnancy will hold.
