c sections???

Do you still bleed out your vag after a c section?
I know if you can birth normally then you bleed for a long time, but makes me wonder if it happens with a c section? I'm having twins, I would love vaginal birth, but who knows what can happen!! Just trying to prepare myself for the worse lol

I had a c-section with my son and I did bleed after, it lasted for about 2 weeks and my doc said it was perfectly normal. Its good you are preparing yourself for both, i was very set on having my son vaginally and was crushed when they told me I had to have a c-section after 36 hours of active labor and 4 hours of pushing. i was not even a little prepared for it and cried the whole time the did it.

Yes, after every birth, vaginal our c-section you bleed.

Ihad to csection first i've was and emergency and second one was planned I think it depends on your body because I only bleed for a 2week then started my normal cycle with both kids...it wasn't to bad..

Yes, I had an emergency c-section and bled for 5-6 weeks after, pretty heavily. I'm sure mine was just as bad as a vaginal birth.
