I Am My Own Woman
As a mother, I know what's best for my 3 kids. I'm 23 years old & i Strive to be the best mommy I can be. You learn something new everyday about yourself & your kids. Parenting is a full time job & though the reward is great, I don't see anybody paying me for raising my kids, so why Should I pay thier "opinions" any attention? I'm my own woman. I do what works for me & my family. If they do something different, that's cool. But, don't criticize me or others because we raise our kids different. You can offer advice, if I take it, that's awesome. If I don't, thanks anyway. Point is ladies, be your own woman. Only you know what's best for you & YOUR baby. Don't be pressured by society's changing views :) ♥ :) ♥ :) ♥:)
I am not saying your arrogant. Nor do I know you personally or your parenting style, children, etc. I just think some women mistake "knowing whats best" for thier own arrogance because knowing what is best for your child is what a mother is supposed to do. I do agree with you but I just think there are women out there who for the lack of a better word SUCK as being a mother. And if they weren't so full of pride maybe taking that advice would help them. You are completely right, you have to raise your kid the way you see fit. I am not disputing that. I am simply saying some people should take a class or two. Lol
I understand your post n totally agree! Yes advice is nice but as u stated its just advice only u know wats best for your child someone can give u advice on things for your child but it doesn't mean its wats best for your child
@jess-ann5 one thing we can get straight, I could never, or anybody else, could compare me to honey boo boo mom. There are abusers, perverts, all type of horribke ppl in the world that shouldn't be parents at all. That is not what my post was meant for. U should read my post over, never said as a parent u know everything. I specifically said, "you learn something new everyday. .etc." nobody is perfect. I will always know what's best for my kids before somebody who doesn't know me or my kids. Arrogant? Pompous? Lol. Every has thier "opinion". Let's not say we agree with each other, then say its pride & arrogance.
Agreed!!! I have been told this same advice. just because someone did something one way with their children doesn't mean that same thing will work for you. do what works for you!! fully agree :)))
Although I agree with you, I also must say that some women think they know whats best but really its just false pride. I'm sorry but no one is perfect and neither is everyone's mothering or parenting skills.. hence why my generation is full of children dressed like hookers, teenagers and women exploited to the max and men who have lost all sense of chivalry. While the level of media exposure, environment, schools, etc. has a lot to do with that as well, I also think as a parent, you should strive to raise your kids with decency and respect.. which unfortunatly my generation and generation below me is lacking tremendously. I mean I am sure miss Honey Boo Boo's mommy thinks she is just the best mommy in the whole wide world! Lol
So while I agree, every family is different.. I dont think I am all knowing or I always know whats best as some good advice or help can make a difference in how I raise my young one's. I do think I am a fit mother but do I always know whats best? No, not necessarily. Do I think I am the best person to raise my child. Absolutely!! :)

Totally agree. My husband and I are very good parents and we hate when people question things we do!
Thank you sooo [email protected] nerd to here that..this is my third baby also and every situation is different..parenting isnt. the easiest and as parents u can take someones advice but in the end its about what works best for u and your baby...God bless u
