Infertility Issues

I am 33 and have a beautiful 2 year old boy; it took me 8 months or so to get pregnant with him and at this point, my husband and I have been trying for just shy of a full year to get pregnant again. We are trying way harder than we did with my son (i.e.ovulation predictors each month, sex every day, then sex every other day, etc..). At this point, I am totally frustrated and confused as to how to proceed. I ovulate and have pretty regular periods, but am not getting pregnant. My husband and I will begin infertility services with my health care provider, but from what I hear, their first intervention may be Clomid, which I understand is really meant to cause ovulation, which I already have covered. Is this not the case with Clomid? What other strategies could I recommend once I begin the services? What other strategies could my husband and I use while pursuing the infertility services? Help! I really want another baby!

Hiya secondary infertility is very common,im 35 and have a 15 year old son,we have been trying for several years.then we sought fertility treatment,we tried clomid, yes its normally given to induce ovulation, but its also used to help get a better ovulation, this worked for us we ended up getting pregnant 4 times but suffered loses, but goes to show it can work, other than what your doing do you chart, although you may get positives on ovulation tests, this doesnt mean you ovulated.only charting would confirm you did,i would consider this if you havent, check out fertility friend.com or ovusoft, really good sites for info.i wish you the best of luck..
