You go in and tell someone who works at the store you want to make one. Often times you'll get a free goodie bag for setting one up.

No it's what others buy for you its just a list of stuff you want or need.... your friends and family buy the stuff on your list then it gets shipped to you

Its what you can make at a store. A common place is like target or babies are us.. you go and scan all the items you want to add to your babg registry and then if you have a shower or people get you gifts they can pick items you chose. Is that what your talking about?
